Welcome to Amberstar Properties Online

Welcome to Amberstar Properties Online, your source for San Antonio real estate. If you own real estate that you're thinking of selling, I would be happy to provide you with a FREE Home Evaluation. BUYERS-Sign up for FREE-New homes for sale in San Antonio with my New Listings Notification. You'll recieve new homes and homes for sale per your request sent to your email address-FREE! A NOTE ABOUT SHORT SALES-A short sale can occur when a lender allows a homeowner to sell a home for a price that is less then what is owed on the mortgage, if the homeowner is experiencing a financial difficulty that would make monthly mortgage payments a significant burden. Unfortunately, nearly 70% of homeowners facing foreclosure never list their home for sale, even though a SHORT SALE has many benefits over a foreclosure. IF YOU'RE A HOMEOWNER HAVING TROUBLE PAYING YOUR MORTGAGE PLEASE CONTACT ME. WE MAY BE ABLE TO DO A SHORT SALE FOR YOU AND AVOID FORECLOSURE. Please browse my website for listings, reports and important local real estate information.
Sincerely,
Larry Sotoodeh / Principle Broker Amberstar Properties Lsotoodeh@satx.rr.com / 210.421.4151 |
Tips For First Time Home Buyers
|
|
1. Be choosey, but realistic-you may never find the perfect home.2. Do your homework before looking at homes-determine exactly what features you want in a home that are important to you. 3. Get your finances in order-examine your credit report and be prepared for down payment and closing cost. 4. Get pre-approved for a mortgage-talk to a lender NOW-before engaging a REALTOR. 5. Know your move in date-when does your lease end? 6. Think long term-are you looking for a starter home, or someting to stay in for a long time? This will influence the type of home you decide to purchase, as well as the type of mortgage terms that best suit you. 7. Don't become "house poor"- buying the biggest home you can afford may leave no money for maintenance, decor, or renovations. Plus, it may make it hard for you to save money for other financial goals. 8. Don't take chances-obtain a professioanl home inspection and, if possible, a warranty from the seller to cover any defect within the first year. |
